The "free press" doesn't exist.
Such a phrase implies media uncensored by government, but what we have today is media censored by corporations, working for the interest of corporations. That's no friend of "the people."
So in some ways pointed finger or not, I hate to admit it, the demagogue's wig is totally right. And he plays golf and hosts at his palace the corporate owners of said media outlets at the back of the room.
While their heads are turned (to back of room), the crowds might well cough while they're at it, because someone sure has 'em by the proverbial balls.
